West Byron is a master planned community close to the town centre of Byron Bay. The urban release area at West Byron is a planned, coastal subtropical neighbourhood with leafy green streets, large shade trees, water sensitive urban design and a communal landscape treatment reflecting the distinctive ecological values of the Byron Shire.

The design considers the adjoining parcels of land and its future subdivision potential and ensures that linkages and permeability throughout the site and neighbouring lands are realised. The master plan provides for a village centre, a variety of open space areas and a range of residential opportunities from standard and compact housing lots, medium density sites through to shop top housing.
