Tooleybuc Bridge Replacement
Tooleybuc is a town in the western Riverina district of New South Wales located adjacent to the Murray River, which divides New South Wales and Victoria. Roads and Maritime Services, in partnership with VicRoads, is looking at options to replace the bridge and upgrade the approaches over the Murray River at Tooleybuc. The existing Tooleybuc bridge is a single lane lifting span Allan truss timber bridge, which opened in 1925.
Urban design strategy and landscape character and visual impact assessment of three route options for the new bridge over the Murray River and its approaches. The project also includes urban and landscape design concepts and opportunities for each of the three options. The study identifies key urban design criteria to assist in determining a preferred option.
