The meeting place is an important part of the community facilities at Lake Glenbawn. It consists of a large open roof, which provides cover over a multi-purpose space with views across the recreational precinct and to Lake Glenbawn beyond.

The steep slope has been addressed with ramps for accessible entry, steps and terraced landscaped walls creating an interesting space that can serve as an ampitheatre, outdoor learning area or picnic gathering space.

A simple material palette made up of steel, sandstone and hardwood timbers, resist bushfire attack, require minimal maintenance and can be sourced locally.
