Tabulam Bridge
Tabulam Bridge forms part of the Bruxner Highway defining the western entry to the rural village of Tabulam on the eastern banks of the Clarence River in northern NSW. The existing bridge is a heritage listed structure however it requires replacement as part of the Roads and Maritime’s Timber Truss Bridge Conservation Strategy.
Preliminary Landscape character and visual impact assessment of the study area undertaken as part of the Urban design strategy to enable the selection of various routes for the new bridge and its approaches at Tabulam.
Development of the Landscape character and visual impact assessment for the preferred four route options as part of the Urban design strategy and to inform the community. The Landscape character and visual impact assessment was undertaken for the preferred option to inform the Review of environmental factors for the project.
PAADesign also prepared the Urban design strategy and detailed design documentation for the new Tabulam Bridge as well as an interpretation strategy for the existing bridge.
