Central Coast Council's Employment lands investigation study identifies additional land for possible expansion of the Somersby Business Park. PAADesign undertook an environmental investigations study for the expansion of the business park to the west incorporating approximately 30 hectares of land.

The planning investigation for the site includes the opportunities and constraints mapping, flora and fauna, heritage, bushfire, traffic, visual and scenic assessment, contamination, flooding and drainage and water and sewer servicing.
