Landscape concept design, development application and construction certificate for new senior’s housing development on the mid North Coast of NSW. The landscape involves distinctive planting types that provide an aesthetic, functional and ecologically sustainable landscape. Pockets of native, coastal tree and shrub species for potential use as habitat are located amongst garden beds containing hardy, ornamental, flowering plants.

Mixed native grasses are incorporated within the bio-filter swales that filters water prior to release into the stormwater. Raised planters in backyards encourage landscape interaction thereby promoting general health and well-being.
