Hunter Valley

Master planning and feasibility study of a greenfield site for a village centre at Watagan Park in the Hunter Valley. The master plan incorporates a supermarket, speciality retail and public open space, and identifying appropriate residential development adjoining the village centre. The master plan considers the increase of densities due to being in close proximity to open space and services.

Review of road networks, open space and community precincts to improve the integration of land uses, connectivity with an existing private school and addressing the existing slope constraints. Physical and visual connection of the public open spaces with the shopping centre and surrounding dwellings is an important consideration in the layout and building concepts.
