Master planning of a village centre at Watagan Park in the Hunter Valley. The master plan incorporates a supermarket, speciality retail and public open space, and identifies appropriate residential development such as shop top housing, compact housing and medium density dwelling typologies suitable for the site conditions. The village centre precinct will comprise of approximately 370 dwellings.

The built form relationship between the proposed shopping centre, residential development and public open space are key considerations. Physical and visual connection of the public open spaces with the shopping centre and surrounding dwellings is important. Building concepts also maximise solar access, cross ventilation and privacy.
