The key goal for the upgrade of the intersection and approaches at the Empire Bay Drive and The Scenic Road at Kincumber, is to ensure the proposal fits within the existing setting, which incorporates residential housing, employment lands and the heavily vegetated riparian corridor of Kincumber Creek. It is also to ensure the pedestrian and cycle connections are enhanced to provide better connectivity between the land uses and maintain access and visibility for local businesses.
