A coastal rural valley residence at  on the Central Coast of NSW that incorporates three connected gable-roofed sections providing separate living and sleeping areas. The three separate sections allows for the staging of the residence for a young growing family.

The living area's major focus is on the swimming pool and central court area, which extends the spatial quality of the living area by creating internal and external living. The water is also connected with the living areas with views of the pool and dam available from these spaces. Other spaces enjoy privacy and serenity being located close to nature with views of the surrounding treed landscape.

The design optimises solar orientation and prevailing coastal sea breezes, natural light and ventilation. Materials were reclaimed or recycled from the existing residence on site. Water is also captured onsite for irrigation.
